Inside the app

Dream Drift does not require a separate account, show advertisements, track your activity, or send usage analytics. We do not operate a server that collects your scene choices or display preferences. Your Drift selection and preferences are stored on your Mac.

Purchases through Apple

Apple processes purchases using your Apple Account. Dream Drift uses StoreKit on your device to verify subscription transactions and determine whether membership is active. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide the publisher with sales and financial reports through App Store Connect; these are separate from in-app usage tracking. Apple’s services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Artworks and local files

Audio and video are bundled with the app. Playback creates temporary decrypted video files on your Mac. The app removes them when playback ends and cleans up stale playback files at the next launch. New artworks are delivered through app updates. Local preferences remain until reset or removed; app deletion may leave local settings or backups depending on your system.

This website

Our website code has no accounts, forms, analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Fonts and artwork images are served from this website, not loaded from third-party font or media services. Following an external link opens a service with its own privacy practices.

This website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages. The hosting service may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser or device information, requested pages, and request times, to deliver and secure the website and prevent abuse. Hosting infrastructure may use cookies or similar technologies for operation and security. We have not added visitor analytics, advertising trackers, or a website sign-in feature.

Retention of hosting operational information depends on the provider’s service, security, dispute-resolution, and legal needs; we do not set a fixed retention period for the provider’s own records. Our website code does not create a separate visitor database or retain its own request logs. See the provider’s policy for details of its processing and retention. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use our email service to receive, store, and reply to those messages, solely for support and applicable obligations, not to add you to a marketing list. We retain correspondence only as long as needed to resolve and follow up on your request or meet applicable legal obligations. You may ask us to delete correspondence that no longer needs to be retained. Please do not send payment card information, passwords, or unnecessary personal details.

Security and service providers

We use appropriate access controls for support correspondence. Apple, hosting providers, and email services may process information in countries other than your own. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We do not sell your support correspondence or use it for targeted advertising.

Your choices

You can stop using the app and remove its local data. You may contact us about access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have sent us, subject to applicable law. There is no Dream Drift account to delete. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage it in your Apple Account.

Changes

We will update this policy if the app or website’s data practices change and identify the effective date in the published version.
